Sales Assistant

We are looking for a sales assistant that supports the sales team by providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

They assist customers by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience. The role may also involve handling customer complaints, performing inventory checks, and helping with promotions and displays to drive sales. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are key for success in this role.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with pet care advice, product recommendations, and inquiries.
  • Sales Transactions: Process purchases accurately and handle payments.
  • Stock Management: Restock shelves, label products, and conduct inventory checks.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep the shop clean and organized, including animal habitats.
  • Promotions & Sales Targets: Inform customers about promotions and help meet sales goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on pet products, food, supplies, and care.
