Top Choice has a deep-rooted history and it all started with Charles & Theresa Tabone founding their company back in 1967. The couple started their business venture by opening an ironmongery in Hamrun. Soon after, they acquired their second establishment and started specializing in home décor and crockery. In the mid-1980s, Charles and Theresa retired, and their son Robert took over the family business. Tabone re-structured the company’s branding and established the company name – Top Choice. During these times, the business expanded and started importing appliances, Hi-Fi equipment, and televisions. In fact, Top Choice was amongst the first television importers in Malta.

Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking to recruit a Technical Refrigeration to join our Service Department located in Haz-Zebbug, Malta. The ideal candidate that we are looking for must be a team player, a self-driven individual who has a passion for customer service. The main core duty is to repair refrigeration appliances.

Responsibilities

On site diagnose and repair of domestic refrigeration units
Co-ordinate with spare parts dept requesting necessary parts and service information to complete repair in the most efficient way possible
Co ordinate and organise refrigeration workshop repairs and general needs

Required Skills

Domestic refrigeration repairs, electronic/electrical components replacement
Repairing of refrigerant circuit (pressure testing ,compressor replacements refrigerant re charge )
Electrical knowledge
Basic electronics knowhow
Able to work independently within a service team
Fluent preferably in both English and Maltese
Driving licence
