Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to ensure all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are consistently clean, polished, and inviting. This role is essential in creating a lasting first impression and maintaining the overall ambiance of our hotel.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lounges, and spa/fitness areas
Ensure surfaces, furnishings, and fixtures are spotless and well-presented at all times
Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials
Respond promptly to spills, hazards, or cleaning requests to maintain a safe environment
Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department
Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to uphold hotel standards

Educational and skill requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, preferably in a hotel or luxury environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
