Main tasks and responsibilities

Supervisor

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service.

  • Lead, motivate, and support the team on shift.

  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

  • Train, coach, and support new staff members.

  • Monitor quality of service, food, and beverages.

  • Manage shift schedules, breaks, and floor plans.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards.

Barista

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.

  • Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment confidently.

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to customers.

  • Keep the barista station clean, organized, and stocked.

  • Suggest menu items and upsell where appropriate.

  • Maintain product knowledge of beans, blends, and brewing techniques.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.

Waiter/Waitress

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Present menus, take accurate food and drink orders.

  • Serve meals and beverages efficiently and courteously.

  • Ensure tables are clean, set, and ready for service.

  • Anticipate guests’ needs and provide attentive service.

  • Handle payments, bills, and POS transactions.

  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Cleaner

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the restaurant, kitchen, and dining areas.

  • Clean floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and staff areas.

  • Dispose of trash and recyclables responsibly.

  • Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored.

  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times.

  • Assist in deep cleaning tasks when required.

  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.

Kitchen Helper

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, peeling, portioning).

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.

  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently.

  • Stock and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients.

  • Support chefs with plating and simple cooking tasks if required.

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and storage guidelines.

  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Previous experience in hospitality roles (supervisory, barista, or service).

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
