Role Overview
Heroix is supporting a respected organisation within the shipping and logistics sector in the search for a Customs Clearance Administrator. This position will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling of customs-related processes for international cargo movements while acting as a point of contact for clients requiring guidance on shipment documentation and clearance procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth flow of import and export operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customs Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and submit customs-related paperwork required for the movement of goods entering and leaving Malta, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Client Liaison: Engage with customers to obtain supporting documentation and information necessary for customs declarations and shipment processing.
- Shipment Coordination: Monitor customs clearance activities and assist in facilitating the timely release and onward movement of consignments.
- Customer Support: Respond to enquiries relating to customs procedures, shipment status, and documentation requirements, providing professional and efficient assistance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across logistics, shipping, and operational functions to support the successful completion of daily activities and service commitments.
