Cash In Transit Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team in a critical role that involves the secure transportation of cash and valuables. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and security while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Safely transport cash and other valuables between designated locations.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety.
Adhere to all security protocols and procedures during transit.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch regarding routes and schedules.
Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies during transit.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Participate in regular training and drills to stay updated on safety and security practices

Requirements

Specialised Private Guard (Driving) CIT or a minimum of 5 years' experience as Security Guard in Malta or Ex Maltese Police/Armed Services
Valid Malta driver's license (minimum B, ideally C1) with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in cash handling or security-related roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
